With repeated requests from our clients that are passionate about culinary delights, we have introduced one week dedicated to gourmet food and wine that will take place twice a year at Elephant’s Eye, Hwange. Our first session will be from 13 to 18 March 2016 with Darryl Burger,a top chef and sommelier from Cape Town, who will be taking guests on a journey of different meals, pairing them with a range of successful wines.
Guests will get to cook themselves and immerse themselves in extraordinary tastes. Darryl will give you a cooking course and satisfy all your culinary curiosities.Guests will also see incredible wildlife, go on safari and experience a host of activities offered at Elephant’s Eye, Hwange in Zimbabwe.
We have chosen Darryl Burger who is the owner and head chef of The Field Kitchen and Plat du Jour. He runs a business that delivers meals that use only organic and pasture reared ingredients – a perfect fit for our eco-lodge.
