Wilderness Touring, the private touring division of Wilderness Safaris, has increased its fleet in the Zambezi region (Victoria Falls and Livingstone) with the purchase of six new vehicles, bringing the total fleet to 30 vehicles.
The new vehicles will be used to transport visitors as they explore the exciting attractions of the Zambezi region.
The acquisition forms part of Wilderness Touring’s five-year replacement scheme, which ensures all vehicles offer extremely high levels of comfort and reliability. Three Toyota Quantum 16-seaters, and three Toyota Coaster 26-seaters were purchased for just over US$500 000.
We chose to make this investment based on our optimism about the future tourism potential of the Victoria Falls region,” says Operations Manager of Wilderness Safaris for the Zambezi region, Dean Morton. “The new vehicles complement our team of highly skilled staff and will ensure that we are in the perfect position to continue delivering top-quality service to our guests as they explore the diverse range of activities and experiences available in the area.”
Wilderness Touring has offices, vehicles and guides in Victoria Falls, Livingstone and Cape Town. It offers a wide range of full- and half-day excursion options for guests ranging from scheduled group tours to fully inclusive private touring.
