The Bistro On The Edge is a new development going ahead at the current Wild Horizons “Lookout” jump site, located on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, overlooking the beautiful Victoria Falls Bridge, at the first hair-pin bend of the Zambezi River, below the Victoria Falls.
The views from this location are panoramic and breathtaking, and with the development of the Bistro, right on the edge of the gorge, overhanging the turbulent Zambezi 120m below, the location of this restaurant will undoubtedly become renowned across the world.
The famed Wild Horizons highwire activities (such as the Gorge Swing and Vic Falls Canopy Tour) will continue to operate from the same location, enabling jumpers and their travel companions to enjoy fresh, modern and Mediterranean cuisine, as well as a lively cocktail menu, whilst observing the busy highwire activities going on in the gigantic chasm below.
Groups, individuals and locals alike will find incredible value in the service and ambience offered by this unique development, and unlike in the past, self-driving customers will also be welcomed, their vehicles accommodated in the newly built car park at the facility.
With free wi-fi at the site, guests will be able to effortlessly brag about their location online, and with regular live acoustic musicians to entertain guests and jumpers, this is not only the start of a new dining experience, but the start of a new dining culture in Victoria Falls.
