Cazombo — At least forty-five health practitioners of the bordering municipality of Alto – Zambezi ended, Friday, a seminar on the prevention of danger and possible cases of hemorrhagic fever viruses (Ebola).
Promoted by the local management of health, in collaboration with the local department of public health and control of endemics, in two days, the training action transmitted matters on the epidemiological surveillance along the border and Bio System – safety in health facilities.
At the closing ceremony, the Director of Municipal Bureau of Health, Jacinto Caumba Sandeze recommended the participants to materialize their knowledge, as they are fundamental and vital tools to safeguard the health of the population.
In addition to the hospital staff and the municipal maternity, the event was attended by technician of the military health services, border guard police, tax police, Migration and Foreigner Services, Heads of Communal posts and Traditional Therapists.
The seminar was guided by the Director of the Municipal Hospital of Upper Zambeze, Castro Yavua Mucanda and the Supervisor of Health Promotion Programme, Salvador Malheiro Tomas de Castro.
