Over the past 25 years Garth Thompson has worked as a guide in most National Parks within Zimbabwe.
He’s also worked in the Okavango Delta, the Linyanti and Chobe waterways of Botswana, the Skeleton Coast, Sossusvlei and Etosha National Parks in Namibia. The Luangwa Valley and Zambezi National Parks in Zambia. So let’s just say that the opinion of Garth is something that goes a long way in the safari industry. Here’s what he had to say about his recent stay at Victoria Falls Safari Club.
“Just back from the Okavango, had an excellent stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge in the Club. Very impressive set up there, you guys have really set the bar for standards in Zimbabwe and I have to say can hold your own with the best in the region or continent! I really mean that! I had a most enjoyable afternoon in the underground hide with Stuart. Very impressed with the Safari Suites, especially the 3 bedroomed units! Nice job to all involved in design and furnishings. However the resounding strong point of your operation are your staff; informed, professional, efficient and so very pleasant!”
