Aerial View of the Zambezi River at Victoria Falls

Wild Horizons is pleased to reveal that the Zambezi River is now dropping at an increased average rate of 1cm per day, which will see the commencement of White Water Rafting activities on or around Sunday the 8th of June. This date is water level dependent based on the current rate of decline, and we will of course, notify our valued agents just as soon as the date is confirmed.

Livingstone Island activities are confirmed to be re-commencing on Thursday 5th June, however this does not include swimming at Devils Pool. Devils Pool is usually safe to swim in between the months of August to December but is also water level dependent.

The latest on the Rainforest Tours of the Victoria Falls at this time of the year, is that the best viewing is of the Main Falls (viewing points 5 – 9), with spots 11 – 15 producing drenching jets of spray (raincoats strongly advised if carrying valuables).
