Greenpop will be back at Livingstone from 15 June to 6 July with an exciting reforestation and eco-education festival of action at the mighty Victoria Falls! Just like in previous years, Greenpop will be planting thousands of trees in sites in need all over Livingstone, Zambia in an effort to fight the region’s drastic deforestation.
Each year, volunteers come from all over the world come to the Livingstone Safari Lodge for one, two or three weeks to plant trees, educate children, learn about environmental issues through a range of lectures and workshops, enjoy brilliant live music, and explore a beautiful corner of Africa! As partners we would love you to get involved again.
How can you get involved?
• Come meet us at our opening event on Friday 13 June 2014 (more information to follow).
• Get your hands dirty and join us on one of our planting days.
• Swing those hips at on of our music evenings on Friday 20 June or Friday 4 July at the Livingstone Safari Lodge
• Join Earth Fest on 27-28 June 2014, and party for the planet! Be sure to expect live musical acts from all over southern Africa, groovy beats from some fine local DJ’s, interactive presentations on environmentalism and sustainability, tasty food and delicious beer…and much, much more!
