The 2013/2014 rafting season is drawing to a close as the water reaches the critical 1450 mm level. It is likely by the beginning of April levels will have surpassed the High Water safety levels, and rafting will officially cease. This is quite normal for this time of year, as the recent rainfall in the Zambezi headwaters swell the river levels. Operators are monitoring the gauges and will release a press statement regarding the closure in due course. We will keep you updated.
