Livingstone can be really proud of its stylish new International Arrivals and Departure Terminal which is a most impressive building. Although the fully operational staff are still being trained, additional seating has installed and the shops have been fitted out. There were initial teething problems which resulted in long queues at check-in, immigration, customs and security but with every passing week processes are being fined tuned thus resulting in shorter queues.
In the departures area there will be Premier Lounges and details will be communicated once finalised. Free Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the building.
Arriving passengers have to clear immigration and customs prior to making their way to the main arrivals hall where they are met by their driver at the front entrance to the Terminal.
It’s not possible to obtain permission for an airside meet and greet and only if special permission has been granted can passengers be met and assisted with clearing immigration formalities. This is at an extra cost.
It is possible to pay for a visa by Visa, Mastercard or American Express but there are occasions when networks are off line so we recommend passenger carry US$ cash for their visa.
The bank and ATM machine have now opened to one side of the main Arrivals Hall. However, there are still no left luggage facilities.
