Insaka Magazine

Africast in partnership with Inzy have launched Insaka, a local publication aimed at providing an overview of the country’s top venues for event and suppliers to conferences.

The organisation’s chairperson Chimwemwe Mwale said Insaka is a timely magazine with the current increase in the number of conferences and events taking place in the country.

Mr Mwale said this in a statement recently.

“Zambia is a country bursting with opportunity, growth and energy in the events sector. This has paved way for Insaka a Meeting, Incentive, Conference & Exhibition (MICE) publication that brings together every element that makes an event possible. Planning your next event has therefore been made easy.

Insaka provides an overview of the country’s top venues for any event and suppliers to conferences and exhibitions. With an increase in the number of conferences and events taking place throughout Zambia, Insaka is a timely but long overdue annual magazine for the MICE industry,” he said.

He said the association will ensure strict code of ethics , conduct, advocate for local service providers , products, adhere to and promote high standards , marketing and growing of the local events industry among others .

Mr Mwale said Africast alongside other professional conference organisers and stakeholders in the MICE sector are pioneering an association for the events industry in Zambia.

He said as more international conferences come to Zambia government will have more faith in local professional conference organisers and event managers to organise future events with the scale of the just ended United Nations World Tourism Organisation.

He called on Government to recognise business events as an area with significant growth potential for Zambia to be on the world map.

Mr Mwale this will make Zambia a competitive regional destination and the global potential is immense.

Insaka 2014 is the ultimate MICE guide for meetings professionals, event organisers, local/public procurement officers and travel planners and anyone planning their next meeting, event or travel.
