At least 1,442 exhibitors will showcase their products and services at the annual Sanganai/Hlanganani World Travel and Tourism Africa Fair this year, up from 1,200 last year, says Zimbabwe Tourism Authority public relations manager Sugar Chagonda.
He told New Ziana on Monday that this premier tourism showcase will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre from Thursday to Saturday.
“Sanganai has grown as a tourism brand over the past six years and that is why even the number of exhibitors escalates with each exhibition,” he said.
The exhibitors are from South Africa, Namibia and Botswana while other countries are represented by their embassies.
The Sanganai/Hlanganani expo is aimed at showcasing a variety of Africa’s best tourism products. This year’s edition will see the hosting of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) Business Forum on Thursday.
