Zebra in Etosha National Park

Zebras will never fail to amaze onlookers with their stripes, a coat pattern intended to disguise the animals not within their environment, but within their herd. The stripes help to confuse predators and make it harder to distinguish individuals (let alone front end from back end, especially when the herd is in motion) making it more difficult to take down a zebra. This photo was taken in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
