You deserve to unwind and breathe deeply in one of the wildest and untouched locations on earth. Your soul needs it. Sindabezi Island is a setting where bliss lives.
Sindabezi Island is an exclusive bush camp on a private isle of the Zambezi River in Zambia. Guests get to claim Sindabezi as their personal haven for the duration of their stay. Imagine an African hideaway in the most awe-inspiring natural setting which you have all to yourselves. It’s a travel fantasy come to life. Visits to the mighty Victoria Falls can be arranged from the camp too making it the perfect destination.
A day in the life on your own island could include activities like canoeing on the Zambezi, a Sampan floating candlelit dinner, a visit to Victoria Falls, guided bush walks, fishing, cultural visits to nearby villages and more. The night times are spent at your private bush lodge, far away from all unwanted noises. Just the sounds of the water and wildlife will mumble in the background.
Sindabezi is an eco-friendly camp and everything in its character speaks of nature. It is currently one of the top 10 eco lodges in Africa according to Fodor’s. Did we mention it’s a place of pure bliss?
In this internet dominated age we dwell in, holiday planning is a Pinterest-inspired, Trip Advisor ruled activity. It’s wonderful and reviews are king. We know you don’t have to take our word about how spectacular a stay at Sindabezi is. Rather, you can find out exactly what to expect from guests who have experienced it for themselves.
Here’s what some of our recent guests had to say about their stay at Sindabezi:
The Lees who stayed on 2nd of August said:
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment. The staff are simply wonderful and helpful. The food is delicious and the design of the camp is superb, could not have wished for more! Thank you so much, we loved the outing to Livingstone Island and it should be included in every excursion to Victoria Falls. Our guide Brian was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
The Neals who stayed on the 19th of August said:
One of the most valuable and rewarding aspects of life during our stay on Sindabezi was the “bush T.V. conversation” around the fire each evening. The dialogue of sharing by Brenda and Felix was particularly enjoyable and thoughtful. We all learned so much about Zambia and life here, each night our children came back with more question. These were the most informative and interesting of all.
The Vincents also on the 19th of August:
After a week in South Africa I feel Zambia and Sindabezi showed me the true heart of Africa. Thank you. We loved Sindabezi, Charles was an excellent valet. He can make anyone feel comfortable with his gentle nature. Felix was so kind in educating us on the wildlife on the boat trips. Brenda was always willing to do anything we asked with a nod and a smile. She is a sweet girl.
Accommodation at Sindabezi is made up of just five open-sided thatched cottages, allowing guests to take in the bushveld sights and sounds in a wilderness setting. Views across the flood plains of the Zambezi and into the nearby National Park complete the experience. It’s wild! Many guests combine Sindabezi with a stay at its sister property, Tongabezi Lodge, a short boat ride away.
