Useful facts about Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls, which is among the greatest Natural Wonders across the world, are located on the Zambezi River. This river is located at the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. These falls, which are the largest in the world, are 400 feet high and a mile across. David Livingstone discovered these falls in 1855 and their name is derived from Queen Victoria.
How to get to Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls, which is a major tourist attraction in Southern Africa, is part of a Zimbabwean National Park namely, Victoria Falls and a Zambian National Park, namely, Mosi-oa-Tunya. In order to get to these falls, visitors and tourists should fly to Livingstone Airport, which is in Zambia, or to Victoria Falls Airport, which is in Zimbabwe, from Harare or Johannesburg. One and half hours is enough for both flights to reach these airports, which are approximately 20 minutes away from Victoria Falls if they are going by car.
