CARACAL is planning a major fundraising event in support of Chobe conservation, on the 22nd June, 2013 in the form of a music festival. There will be games, auctions, food and beverages, music and a variety of activities.

Center for African Resource: Animals, Communites and Land use (CARACAL) is a non-profit conservation organization based in Kasane.
Their mission is the conservation of the environment and its resources through a unique combination of focused research, development, outreach and education. They also have a Biodiversity Centre where orphaned and injured animals that cannot be rehabilitated are kept for hands-on education.
They work closely with government and the private sector as well as with communities to improve livelihoods and sustainable resource use in Chobe to secure a sustainable future for all.
