Scholastic Moses Tekere who holds a PhD in International Economic Relations and has over 20 years experience in international trade negotiations especially EPAs, WTO, regional trade integration (SADC and COMESA) and WTO will be one of the guest speakers at the 2012 ZNCC Annual Congress to be held in the majestic Mosi oa Tunya ( smoke That Thunders) set for June 27 to 29. Tekere has experience also in regulation of international economic relations, African regional economic integration, international economics, international trade and finance, trade policy, economic and social development policies, industrial policy, informal sector economics, African development, economic crisis, debt, aid and political economy of development.
Tekere have also worked for SADC Secretariat and COMESA Secretariat as Chief Technical Advisor on trade negotiations and have also provided consultants services to multilateral institutions including WB, WTO. . He has experience at various academic institutions in Southern Africa and Japan after having worked with various national governments in east and southern Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda Zambia, Zimbabwe and regional Secretariats. . Previously he lectured at UZ for 12 years and served as founding Director of Trade and development Studies Centre. Meanwhile preparations for this annual event are at an advanced stage.
